Sustainability

At Mother India Forming (MIF), sustainability is a core commitment that drives every aspect of our operations. We use green steel sourced from low-carbon suppliers to minimize our environmental footprint, while on-site water conservation systems recycle and harvest water responsibly. Our urban forest beside the factory restores biodiversity and improves air quality, reflecting our dedication to a greener industrial ecosystem. With rooftop solar panels powering our facility, we reduce reliance on fossil fuels and move toward carbon neutrality. Together, these initiatives embody MIF’s vision of combining industrial excellence with environmental responsibility for a sustainable future.

Green Steel

We actively partner with suppliers adopting low-carbon steel production, reducing our overall environmental footprint while maintaining the same strength and precision our products are known for.

Water Conservation

Through on-site water recycling and rainwater harvesting systems, MIF ensures that every drop is valued — conserving water resources and maintaining eco-efficiency in production.

Urban Forest

Next to our factory stands a thriving urban forest — our living commitment to restoring biodiversity, improving air quality, and creating a greener industrial ecosystem.

Solar Power Generation

MIF harnesses renewable energy through rooftop solar panels, reducing fossil fuel use and moving toward carbon neutrality. With a current generation of 150 KW out of 800 KW total consumption, we plan to scale up to 800 KW by 2026, aiming for fully solar-powered operations and a cleaner, self sustaining future.

Our Environmental Goals

We continue to set ambitious sustainability targets to strengthen our positive impact on the planet by achieving 100% solar power generation by 2026, reducing our carbon footprint by 40% within the next five years, expand green cover through regular plantation drives and strengthen sustainable sourcing across our supply chain.
